In our fast-paced world, where moments often fly by in a blur, taking the time to document and celebrate family connections feels more important than ever. These sweet cousins came together to freeze a moment in time when they were all so small.

In the end, it's not just about the photographs themselves, but the stories they tell and the memories they preserve. The cousins' portrait session was a testament to the beauty of family ties – a reminder that in every click of the camera, there's a story waiting to be shared and cherished. These little ones will likely not even remember coming to Legacy Portraits for these photos, but, that is okay! In the end, what we capture today becomes the Legacy we leave behind tomorrow.

Two to love! With a adorable two year old and new twin boys, this family will have some fun days ahead! At just over 5 weeks old they were just over 5 pounds when they came to Legacy Portraits. It has been a while since I have had such tiny ones in my studio! The only way I could tell them apart was that one had a tiny scratch on his nose. I have edited it out in their portraits so… one is Owen and one is Oliver! I just do not know who is who! They are both very cute and cuddly!

I know they will grow so quickly. The newborn period goes by in a frantic sleep deprived haze. How will you remember? Legacy Portraits can help!

While here for a quick visit we made some time for family photos. These were taken last year and I never put them on my website. Family sometimes takes a back seat. Anyway, this family has grown and changed so very quickly. It’s crazy to think that the oldest daughter is now in the double digits!

The girls are very fortunate to have not only 4 grandparents but, also 4 great-grandparents!! Since the great grandparents were here as well, we had to include them in some photos. Family times together are so important. I know that being in front of the camera can be awkward and uncomfortable. Even if you do not want photos for yourself, it is so special for your family. How will you remember?? Legacy Portraits can help!

I recently had one of my favorite 5-year-olds at Legacy Portraits. I have had the privilege of photographing her at least once a year since she was just 6 months old. It has been fun to watch her grow and see her personality develop! She has an adorable personality and really kept me on my toes! She gave me so many different facial expressions that I just had to put some of them together in a collage. Every year we recreate an image of them holding hands with her in the center. They have a wall of canvases of this same pose! It is a fantastic way to watch her grow.

This adorable family drove all the way from Marietta to have their family portraits taken!  With two children under that age or two, that is quite an undertaking!  I know how difficult it is to make time for family photos!  I wish I had done it more with my children when they were little.  I treasure the photos that I have but, I still wish I had more professional portraits taken.  I have all the school photos, the church directory portraits, the soccer pics and all the goofy every day pics.  I still wish I had more!  I can't go back in time.  I can create memories for other families but, the time I had with my little ones is long gone.  It is my goal for 2017 to get my children and their children together for a real family portrait.  I know how difficult it is!!  But, it is so worth the trouble!
