Senoia Tween Photographer

Guess who is in the double digits? Yup, this girl is now ten-years-old! She came to Legacy Portraits on her birthday. I cannot think of a better way to celebrate than having new portraits taken. I hope she will always remember this special time in her life when she is not quite a teen but not quite a young child. I’m happy she had a special time in the studio just for her. She is a beautiful girl inside and out!

This sweet and sassy 4-year-old has been coming to Legacy Portraits since she was just a little baby. It has been fun watching her grow up and seeing her personality develop! She and her parents are a joy to photograph! Every year we recreate the image of her in between her parents as they hold her hands. I think it is such a fun yearly tradition! Hoping to continue it at least until she heads off to college. Thinking of the future, I would absolutely love to photograph her family in the same pose with her in a wedding gown. But, I am getting ahead of myself!! 4 is a great age to be!

Fayette Coweta Baby Photograher

This little guy was tough at first. He woke up in a grouchy mood and did not want to have anything to do with his portrait session! It took bribes, coaxing and a yellow airplane to get him to warm up! Finally he was a happy and smiley boy. He is just adorable! I love his big thoughtful, brown eyes! One very exciting thing will be happening in his life pretty soon. He is going to be a big brother!! I think he is up to the task! Here are some of my favorite images from his session.

Coweta Senior Portraits

Grandma’s love to have portraits of their grandchildren to show off to the world! As a Mimi of 2 I know this well!! With her beautiful granddaughter only days away from graduation, Grandma wanted traditional senior portraits. She had missed them at school and Grandma did not want her to totally miss the opportunity. Plus, Grandma has to have her “brag” photographs!! I’m so happy that she agreed to come in for her portraits! I know her grandma is happy! Congratulations on your accomplishments and best wishes for your future endeavors.

Quiet Strength

This was a very special family portrait session. I was contacted by Quiet Strength and asked if I would provide a portrait session for a family in our community. Quiet Strength is a non profit dedicated to providing the gift of family portraits to families with a child diagnosed with a terminal illness. This adorable 7 year old boy was diagnosed with one of the cruelest childhood cancers known. He has a brain tumor called diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma or DIPG. This tumor is considered fatal on diagnosis. Only 10% of children diagnosed with DIPG survive for 2 years following their diagnosis. Less that 1% will survive for 5 years. The median survival time for kids diagnosed with the disease is nine months from diagnosis. L J was first diagnosed in April 2017.

Even though he was not feeling great, he did his best to give me some smiles. I think he enjoyed the marshmallow fight! Such a sweet family! I was honored to create L.J.’s legacy portraits. If you would like to follow his brave battle check out his Facebook page: Prayers for LJ Tucker
