At six months this little one is at a great age to photograph! She makes awesome eye contact, gives beautiful smiles, sits well unsupported and is not yet mobile enough to get away from me! So fun and adorable! She reminds me of a little doll.
This is the second year I have photographed this adorable face for her Christmas cards. She is such a bright and charming girl! As you can see by her smile, she has a great personality! There were many cute shots to choose from. She was such a blast!! I look forward to watching her grow up!
I had the privilege of doing a mini session with this lovely family. This beautiful lady will be celebrating her 89th birthday in less than two weeks! She recently had both her children in town so they came by Legacy Portraits’ studio for a quick family shoot.
When I delivered her prints it gave me great pleasure to watch her open her box and see her images. She showed me another family portrait hanging on her wall. It had been taken when her children were very young. It was the last professional family portrait they had taken. The fact that it still hangs on her wall shows how she treasures it. It felt wonderful to give her another treasure to hang! She told me how much she wished her husband was still alive to be included in the new photo. I am sure it is bitter sweet. No one can stop time but, we can freeze just a tiny moment so those treasures in life can be hung on our walls and bring back fond memories with a glance.
Martha has agreed to be part of my “Senior Portraits” project. Over the next year I plan to photograph real seniors (not high school) from the local community. I am currently looking for people over the age of 80 to be models. If you know someone in the Coweta county area who might be interested please call me. 770.363.4791This a a free photo shoot with no obligation to purchase anything.
When was the last time you had professional photos taken of your family? The last time this family of seven had a family photo shoot, they were a family of six! There is never a perfect time to get it done. If you wait for the perfect moment it will never happen. Life gets in the way. It was great to have this family trust me with their family portraits. As the kids grow up it becomes harder to get everyone together. I’m so glad they took the time to do it!
I was fortunate to have the privilege of photographing Taylor at the very young age of 5 days! She was such a sweet little subject. I have so many cute photos of her it is hard for me to choose a favorite! I am excited to watch her grow and see her interaction with big sister Ellie. Congratulations Sara, Ted and big sister Ellie!
